Warden, Rickles and Chase do Dirty Work
Veteran humor-meisters Chevy Chase, Don Rickles and Jack Warden have signed on to fill out the cast of MGM’s pic “Dirty Work,” a skewed comedy about a spiteful loser who opens a successful business providing revenge services, the studio announced Monday.
Comedian/actor Norm Macdonald — who in recent years delivered a mix of demented news items from behind the Weekend Update anchor desk on “Saturday Night Live” that Chase first chaired — co-wrote the “Dirty Work” screenplay with Frank Sebastiano and Fred Wolf. Macdonald will star in the lead role as the loser who finds his true calling as a revenge specialist.
Chase, Rickles and Warden will perform opposite Christopher MacDonald, Artie Lange and Traylor Howard.
“Dirty Work” is a fast-track project set to start shooting Thursday in Toronto. It will be directed by Bob Saget, the former “Full House” star and host of the longrunning “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”

It will be Saget’s first feature directing job, though he previously helmed the television drama “For Hope.”
Robert Simonds is producing “Dirty Work” and Brad Grey is exec producing.
